Hey there…
Breathe the spring mountain air of this project as we take a deeper look on how this one went down.
Time for Introductions…
Meet Tatum, she was born and raised in Juneau Alaska and moved to Missoula Montana in 2021 to attend the University of Montana, where she is currently a senior and majoring in accounting.
Moving to Missoula was a bit of a shock to her as she grew up fishing the waters of the pacific, but as she says though, “It was great to be able to pick up fly fishing in one of the best states for it.”
In her time there she has grown to adore Missoula and the surrounding areas that allow her to continue the hobbies that where so loved back home. After graduation she hopes to become a Certified Public Accountant and continue exploring the fishing Montana has to offer.
A focus on the person.
It is easy to loose focus on the fact that we photograph people most of the time our camera is on. Not a stand in or a prop for the product or place we are advertising. They a real people that have crazy stories and a lifetime of experiences. That is what makes people awesome to work with, because they have a personality and a life and that conveys through images with the right people working on set. That there is what this project was about, highlighting the person in front of the lens, their story, their hobby, their way.
